According to the May 2006 newsletter, talk about energy, provided by the Alberta Government, "the new Regulated Rate Option (RRO) offers residential, irrigation and small business consumers the opportunity to receive electricity at a regulated rate.  The RRO is automatically provided to all eligible customers who have not selected a competitive electricity retailer.   The RRO continues to provide an option to consumers while encouraging the development of the competitive market and greater choice for customers."  If you are a member of the REA and would like a copy of the new Regulated Rate Option Terms & Conditions of Service, please contact our office.
