Our Community Involvement
CAREA prides itself on being involved in the community. We are actively involved in several projects throughout the year
aimed at helping those in the Central Alberta area including the Adopt-A-Family and Christmas Bureau programs during the
Christmas season as well as various charities that we help support through donations over the year.
We are also involved with the REDA program in sponsoring two youths, one male and one female, for a summer camp adventure. Information on this program can be obtained from our sponsorship page or by contacting our office. CAREA also provides two scholarships for $1000 each through the Alberta Heritage Scholarship Fund. These are presented yearly to the two top applicants, as chosen by a panel, again one male and one female. For more information regarding our scholarship program please visit our scholarships page or contact our office.
CAREA strives to involve itself and its staff in the local community as well as the surrounding area. To help inform our members as well as the local citizens in Central Alberta we have drafted a values statement that details how we at CAREA work to stay connected to and work for our community.
